SPSS is a widely used program for statistical analysis in social science. It is also used by market researchers, health researchers, survey companies, government, education researchers, marketing organizations, data miners,and others.
Used primarily by Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, with unlimited Statistics Base and Advanced Statistics Academic Campus Value Unit Subscription Licenses. This includes home use as well.
- SPSS is avaliable for installation on campus computers through the SCCM Software Center. SPSS is licensed via our campus license server, so computers will need to be connected to vpn to obtain a license off campus
- SPSS is available for use in some computer labs on campus.
Personal use
MSU Moorhead students and faculty are eligible to download and install SPSS free of charge onto their own personal computers running Windows and Mac operating systems.
