The Dragon ID Card is used for many services at MSUM

  • Door access for after-hours university facilities access and various residence hall exterior access.
  • Events for free or discounted entrance to university-sponsored athletic events, student entertainment/activities/programs, art/music performances, etc.
  • Library for checking out library materials.
  • MATBUS U-Pass for getting around Moorhead, Dilworth, Fargo and West Fargo.
  • Meal plan for use at MSUM Dining locations.
  • Dragon Dollars for use at all MSUM Dining and convenience store locations.
    • Anyone can deposit funds into the accounts of enrolled MSUM students. To deposit an amount, you will need to know the recipient’s Dragon ID number.
  • Print release for printing in campus computer labs and residence hall print stations.
  • Campus Cash for use at print release stations.
    • Anyone can deposit funds into the accounts of enrolled MSUM students. To deposit an amount, you will need to know the recipient’s Dragon ID number.

Add Funds and Online & Distance Learning Students

Location & Contact Information - The Dragon Card office is part of the IT Help Desk

Add Funds - add funds online for the following:

  • Campus Cash (C$): For use with student printing on campus. Funds expire the last business day in May of each school year
  • Dragon Dollars (D$): For use at all MSUM Dining locations. This is NOT a meal plan. Funds expire the last business day in May of each school year
  • Commuter/Staff Meal Plans: my.mnstate.edu/Housing/Forms/CommuterStaffMealPlanForm

Online & Distance Learning Students - If you are taking classes remotely and are an online only student, you can request a card through this site, upload a picture and it will be mailed to you. Please note, the card you receive will not work for on-site services so only use this portal if you are not going to be on campus.
