Microsoft Bookings: Using your personal bookings page

Before getting started

The instructions here apply only to the personal booking page. The personal booking page has an easier setup than the full-featured bookings application, but lacks some of the functionality. If the instructions here do not seem to match your experience when using bookings, please choose one of the following:

Please follow the instructions in the Microsoft Bookings general overview article to access Microsoft bookings and navigate to your personal booking page.

Common tasks

Turn off your personal booking page

To turn off your personal booking page so that nobody can access it, click the More button (ellipses or three dots) to the right of your name, then click Turn off your bookings page.

Turn on your personal booking page

If your personal booking page was previously turned off, you can turn it back on by clicking Publish on the yellow banner that will be apparent on your personal bookings page. If you do not see this banner on your personal bookings page, your page is already on, or was not previously turned off.

Public vs. Private services

People booking with you can choose from among different meeting types you create. These meeting types are called services. On your personal booking page, services can be either Private or Public.

Private services are only visible to people who have a direct link. These services are not available on your personal booking page for folks to choose from.

Public services appear on your personal booking page. People booking with you can choose from among different meeting types you create.

Create a service

To create a new service click the plus sign to the right of the Public or Private heading.

Delete a service

Click the More button (ellipses or three dots) on the card for the service you'd like to delete. Click Delete.

Edit an existing service

Click almost anywhere on the card for a service in order to open the edit service screen. Do not click the More button (ellipses or three dots) on the card.

Share a link to your personal bookings page

Click the blue Share button to the right of your name on your personal bookings page. You can choose to copy a link, share via email, or add a link to your email signature.

Copy link

After you click Copy link, a notification will appear on your screen to indicate that the link has been copied. You can now paste it wherever you like.

Share via email

If you click Share via email, a window appears that lets you search for someone to send the email to. You can add multiple people and you can type external addresses. You can also add a personal message. Click Send when done.

Add to email signature

If you click Add to email signature, a window will open in your browser where you can edit your Outlook 365 email signature. Put a checkmark in the box labeled "Include a link to my bookings page in my signature" to add a link to your personal bookings page. Click Save.

After checking the box, you should see a link with the words "Book time to meet with me" appear at the bottom of your signature.

Share a link to an individual service

Instead of sharing a link to your entire booking page, you can share links to individual services (meeting types) so that those booking with you do not have to choose.

Share a link to a public or private service

Click the More button (ellipses or three dots) on the card for the service you'd like to share, you can then click Copy link or Share.

Copy link

There are two ways to copy a link to the service. On the More menu for a service, you can click Copy link or Share. If you click Copy link, a notification will appear on your screen to indicate that the link has been copied. If you click Share, a window will appear. Click the icon that looks like a stack of paper next to the URL on this window to copy the link. A notification will appear on your screen to indicate that the link has been copied.

Email a link

If you would like to send an email with a link to the service, click Share on the More menu for that service, then click the Email button in the bottom right of the window that appears. You can then search for people, enter email addresses, or add a custom message before sending the email.

Share a one-time link to a service

One-time links are only available on Private services.

If you'd like to send a link that can only be used once, Click the More button (ellipses or three dots) on the card for the service, then click Copy single-use link.
