MSUM Internet & Wifi Access

The MSUM wireless network is an extension of the campus network that provides students, faculty, and staff with 802.11a/g/n compatible wireless access to the campus network and the internet. The wireless coverage extends to all of campus buildings excluding the residence halls.

For off-campus internet, there are several companies you can use. Please inquire with local providers to see if they can offer service to your housing location.

If you are inquiring about internet options in the dorms, please refer to our Dorm Internet KB article.

  • Enabling a wall port
  • Requesting additional access points in an area where wifi may be limited
